| At the time this photo was taken NYS Route 5 was still closed due to the derailment involving two trains on June 27, 2013. We decided to take advantage of this and caught this empty oil train on it's way back from Philadelphia bound for the oil fields of North Dakota. With the last rays of light poking through trees from the hillside behind, this interesting lashup of power did not disappoint us. NYS Route 5 has since been reopened. |
