A Santa Fe northbound freight passes through Cameron, Texas, on March 6, 1974, behind an A-B-B-B set of F-units. Lead unit 332L was one of seven former red/silver passenger cab units to receive this "bluebonnet" paint scheme. The unit was retired in April 1975 and rebuilt to CF7 2458 in May 1977.
These are the paint schemes you didn't think would turn up on the locomotives that they're on. (or they
re just really awesome paint schemes that didn't get the the credit they deserved...)
