| The North Norfolk Railways Autumn Steam Gala marked the return to service of BR Standard Class 4MT no.76084. After being withdrawn in 1967 and rescued from Barry Scrapyard 76084 lay in someones garden awaiting restoration. The locomotive was eventually taken up by the 76084 Locomotive Company Limited and is now running for the first time in 46 years. The standard is seen here looking as though it has never been away after passing Sheringham Golf Course with the 14:40 Sheringham to Holt service. |
