| Shadows are growing long on a beautiful late summer evening as Conrail ME-2 shoves east through Edison on track 2. The crew is returning to Metuchen Yard from Deans after a day of work along Amtrak's Northeast Corridor. Note that track 1 is still out of service due to a long-term track maintenance project. Bridge plates are in place to facilitate the loading and unloading of passengers across track 1. |
