Clinchfield F7 802 sits in the L&N yard in Loyall, KY. L&N trains that held trackage rights over the Clinchfield would sometimes have Clinchfield power attached to them, and the power would find itself on L&N trackage, which was made even more common in years after as the Family Lines mantra became stronger and stronger. 802 was traded into EMD in 1980, and was one of the last F-units the Clinchfield traded in. 35mm slide from my collection, photo by Harry Juday.
