| Three Amtrak P42's and a rebuilt P40 lead a special 28 car private train down the Yakima Canyon on BNSF's Yakima Valley Subdivision. This train was put together in Seattle, Washington and will terminate in Napa, California for the American Association of Private Railroad Car Owners (AAPRCO) convention on October 1-3rd, 2013. This is the first time that I know of that Amtrak units have traveled through the Yakima Canyon in the past 30 years. |
