P. H. Glatfelter Co. SW1200 98 works at the company's paper mill in Spring Cove, Pennsylvania. Proudly flying an American flag, and displaying decals on the cab side for Penn State's Nittany Lions, this locomotive rolled out of EMD's factory as Pennsylvania Railroad 7917 (later renumbered PRR 9017 before becoming Penn Central 9017 and, with the formation of Conrail, CR 9336 ... CR later sold it to Lancaster & Central, who operated it as their 97). GLTX 98 was photographed just outside the paper mill on September 27th, 2013.
