Rio Grande work train No. 952 waits patiently in the American Fork siding for a meet with the hot 187 train from Denver. The original 39 ft. section rail had just been replaced with new ribbon rail. The tall smokestack behind the mill gondola dates to a long dismantled sugar factory. Today the trusty old stack serves as a cell phone transceiver tower.
