In the northern Bronx New Haven EP-4 number 361 slows for the junction of the New York Central and New Haven railroads. The EP-4 was dual voltage, 11,000vac (25hz) under the New Haven Wire and 660vdc on the third rail into Grand Central Station.There were six in the class, built in 1938, 3600hp.
