| MetroPort train from Tauranga approaches Papakura, passing a new siding (now electrified) for the Auckland Transport units which will start operating as far as here from 2014. Trains to Pukekohe will continue to be diesel hauled. The DL class, built by Dallian CNR, is reputed to be the first Chinese built diesel exported to a western railroad. |
