| The fall of 79 found the Soo power short and they leased a few CR U-boats to help solve the problem for a couple of months. Mostly U25C's were leased although I did spot this U33C in my hometown. None of the units seemed to be in very good shape and they failed quite often. Soo never had much luck with there own U-boats so the lack of familiarity with GE's may have had a lot to do with the problems. On a dark rainy October morning train 912 has pulled into the clear on the Ex DSS&A main toward St. Ignace to clear for train 911. After the meet CR 6548 and Soo 754 will shove back 121 car 912 onto the Soo Main and will be bound for Sault Ste. Marie. |
