| Milwaukee Road 186 and 196 lead a short 21 car 911 into a bright sunset that has cast a golden glow on the grimy lead unit. Train 911 is now nothing more than the only daily westbound job on the Soo Subdivision and does all work between Sault Ste. Marie and Gladstone. The huge amounts of COFC traffic shifted to the CSX routing across Lower Michigan the prior fall and Soo's Upper Michigan lines are almost devoid of run-through CPR traffic through the Sault Ste. Marie gateway. |
