| A CSX employee throws a switch to allow the 7918 to pull down and garb a couple of engines outside the CSX Locomotive Shop. Built in late 1994, CSX 7918 entered into service as LMS 700 as the first engine of Conrail's order of 60 GE C40-8Ws. Conrail purchased these engines for use in their joint leasing program with GE, Leasing Management Services, hence LMS. |
