Remarks & Notes

Two UP Century DD40A-X's are assisted by an SD24B and a GP30 up Cajon grade at Devore, Calif. on April 30, 1976. UP operates on AT&SF (new BNSF) trackage rights over Cajon Summit all the way to Daggett east of Barstow. Supposedly this photo spot is over the San Andreas earthquake fault.
