You've seen the outside of the beautiful 311 - well - the interior is seen here as we moved the unit into position along the Lake Champlain waterfront. One of the VRS 'family' is seen at the throttle - a shop hostler complete with EMD jacket - since VRS is mostly ALL EMD (except for the passenger special Alco RS-1 405). NOTE: Photographer was not part of operating crew on the ferry move to the waterfront and loco was NOT in motion at time of photo.
