| Originally acquired by the Detroit & Mackinac Railway in November of 1946, the ex-Lake State Railway Alco RS-2 469 is seen outside the Saginaw, Michigan roundhouse of the LSRC in storage for a private owner. This was the last operable RS-2 in the US and was saved from the scrappers torch. It is the only Alco remaining on the property of the LSRC. |
