| MILW 156, the Milwaukee's Bicentennial SD40-2 reflects on its celebrity status and the future of the West Coast Extension at the Tacoma shops in August 1978. By the following year it would be repainted black and orange, and by March 1980 it would no longer have a transcontinental route to travel on. |
