| An all EMD freight thunders south past the former passenger station(now tire dealership) over the Catskill Creek Bridge. Leading the freight is a "Sponge Bob" square cab SD40-3 "4046' with CSXT SD40-2 8135, a rare CSXT GP-39 4294 and a CSXT GP38-2 2769. The small train will not do any work in Kingston Yard today and was held for two soutbound run-arounds(K040 & Q010) and a northbound freight Q410 at CP-118 in Coxsackie. It was nice to see and hear these EMDs rumble by at speed on what is mostly a 75% GEVO led railroad between Selkirk and Kearny. |
