| Metre gauge St.Gallen-Gais-Appenzell Bahn rack and adhesion motor coach No 1 dating from 1931 climbs away from Appenzell on the now abandoned rack section with the 11.50am service to St.Gallen. This section of line was re-routed so that there was no longer a requirement for the rack section while the SGA is now part of the greater Appenzeller Bahn. |
