This 67-car combined PT-98/grain train was unwillingly dragged upgrade through the Pocono Mountains by a colorful consist of six MLW/ALCOs including: 2045 (M420), 2461 (C425), 414 (C420), 3642 (C636), 3000 (M630) & 405 (C420). The temperature was hovering around 7oF at the time of this photo, and it was at this location that the crew reported some of the units in the consist not operating properly. They sounded as amazing as they looked rounding the super-elevated curve, cresting Lehigh Summit in what I can only assume was "notch 8".
