Remarks & Notes

DMIR 129 heads a freight east towards South Itasca, WI and the CNW interchange. This unit is painted in original "heritage" DMIR scheme, and was one of two steam generator equipped SD9s on the railroad. It was later sent to Birmingham Southern, which was unfortunate in that it should have been donated to the Lake Superior Transportation Museum.
