| NJ Transit was tasked with transporting a large number of football fans to and from Super Bowl XLVIII. In the week leading up to the game, equipment assignments were adjusted to accommodate the extra trains that would be operated on game day. The day after the game it seems that equipment was still being repositioned as this MMC extra led by 4303 brings three locomotives and a set of multi-level commuter cars east out of Raritan. NJT 4013 trails the lead unit, with two additional PL42ACs on the hind end (4017 & 4028). |
