Remarks & Notes

An rare daylight freight train move out of Waterloo, this X338 works east thru a winter wonderland. Here the train climbs the grade at Beth Siding, 30 miles east of Waterloo. BNSF wouldn't take a Warren, IL, grain train at East Dubuque for 2 days, so CN took the BNSF power off to run their trains. Here the BNSF power is in DP mode as 10,500 feet train heads to Chicago in a 2x1 setup.
