On a mild afternoon, or at least what seemed like one, the NS Erie heritage unit caught a southbound manifest (NS 301) from Decatur, IL to Granite City, IL. This is the first heritage unit in a long while to transverse the Brooklyn District in daylight so to be able to chase this from Raymond, IL to Staunton, IL was a fun time. Of interest up from Raymond north is the old Wabash searchlight signals.
