Leased Amtrak GP40TC 193 powers Caltrain #37 past Southern Pacific's Santa Clara Tower on July 16, 1993, the last day of operation for the 65-year-old tower. In 2004 Amtrak had the 193 rebuilt into GP40H 521 for work train service. Kodachrome 64
Now that so many American and South American railways are buying old Canadian locos with the bell above the windshield and details like that, that old fashion is disappearing too fast, and not to mention eco rebuild programs.
