BN 6327 and a former NP passenger F7 or F9B drag a Northtown to Superior freight into Hinkley. The train is operating on the former GN and is about to cross the former NP. The NP line would eventually be discontinued and mostly abandoned, with trains from BNSF, CP and UP all using the former GN line. Even CN and Amtrak used it for a time.
Coal and steel don't go bad. This album features long, slow, heavy freight trains; drag freights, slop freights, dead freights, etc. Trains with lots of power, and lots of different cargo slogging along behind.
