| Running about four hours late, the local freight from Kroonstad to Sasolburg is heading north on the Free State main line on a beautiful summer morning with 15 grain wagons and 13 diesel and petrol tankers. The recently outshopped class 34 wearing the Transnet Freight Rail livery, is a welcome change from the usual pair of grubby 6E1 electrics. |
