| Class 18E Series 2, 18-642, heads empty Car Carrier Wagons out of Pietermaritzburg across the Pentrich Viaduct at sunrise this morning. The train is bound for Durban. The capacity of the transportation of cars by rail on the Natal Main Line has grown significantly in recent months and Transnet Freight Rail have invested a lot of money in the building of new car carrying wagons - examples of these new wagons were on this train from Wagon No. 11. |
