| Patches of ice and snow from the previous storm over 2 weeks earlier dumped about a foot and half of the white stuff dots the landscape in the shadows of the tall hills and trees. It's March 1st, 2014, the beginning of the meteorological Spring but Mother Nature has other plans as forecasts for another Winter Storm bare down on the region. CSX train Q217 rolls west just east of Hancock on the Cumberland Subdivision along the Potomac River floodplain. |
