| With the change over to daylight savings time this morning I though that a shot of the southbound Aurora might work out today. Lots of sunshine made my decision easier so I drove north in search of good location, those of you familiar with Anchorage know this is easier said then done. I eventually settled on this spot between Eklutna and Matanuska about MP 144.8 or 30 track miles north of Anchorage. The train was running a bit late and arrived just in time to beat the setting sun. In the background is Pioneer Peak. |
