| The last northbound train of lumber off the barge in Seward passes beneath the Chugach Mountains on a stunningly beautiful March afternoon. The last week or so have been absolutely beautiful and I had been hoping to catch one of these loaded north bounds in the daylight, but with the empties departing Anchorage between 1400 and 1600 they always came back under the cover of darkness, until today with the last train, fortunately the weather held out. |
