Remarks & Notes

Amtrak's eastbound National Limited is about an hour east of Kansas City on Missouri Pacific's Sedalia sub. An eastbound MP freight behind a pair of U30Cs is in the hole to allow #30 to run around and make an attempt at maintaining its schedule, which it seldom did. Amtrak 438 is the former RF&P 1006. The MP depot served only MofW crews at this date, and today has been replaced by a Sonic Drive-In.
