| Keeping Burlington Northern's route over Stevens Pass open during the winter months is hard work and requires locomotives, train crews, MOW employees and snow removal equipment to get the job done safely. Taking a well deserved break from keeping the line clear, GP30 2221 idles next to the former Great Northern powerhouse formerly used for the electrified portion of the railroad between Wenatchee and Skykomish. |
