      Remarks & Notes
Almost 4 months after the Metro North derailment at Spuyten Duyvil, the locomotive pushing the train that day, P32AC-DM #225 was finally released from investigation by the NTSB allowing Metro North Mechanics to prep the engine for a second trip to be "rebuilt" and repaired. The rebuilding work will be performed by the locomotive's maker, General Electric (GE). In order to get there, it must be shipped via CSX from Croton, NY (Croton West Yard) to GE Transportation in Erie, PA. The only changes made to the locomotive were the replacement of it's trucks/ wheelsets (changed to dummy trucks) and the rear side doors being bolted shut since they were knocked out of place from the accident. "NO ENTRY" signs posted next to them. All other damage from the incident remains.
