    Remarks & Notes
A late running local freight from Kroonstad to Sasolburg provided this rare opportunity to capture a freight at my favourite location north of Rooiwal station, passing the outer home and distant signal for the Down main. This train normally passes here before sunrise and an added bonus was the single class 34 diesel in TFR red livery substituting for the usual pair of 6E1 electrics.
