Remarks & Notes

Nineteen years after CN’s wide-nose SD40-2 5241 was photographed crossing the Thompson River in British Columbia, it was leading a train load of gypsum near Windsor Jct., Nova Scotia, about 3,000 miles apart. On April 13, 1994 it appears CN was taking care of its motive power.
