The last active caboose on the DM&IR brings up the rear of the MRF on this day (April 20) in 1999. The caboose was being used in Two Harbors as a shoving platform and was headed to Proctor for maintenance work. It would later be sold to a company that handles high-wide moves to become a rider caboose.
