The unsung hero behind the "Stars of Sandstone 2014" event was the diesel shunter that made up the various trains during the intensive 9 day programme. Here, the 1964-built Hunslet Taylor pulls a set of passenger cars past the ornamental (non-operating) signals at the entrance to Hoekfontein yards.
