Union Pacific's ZDLSKX passes under the cantilever signal bridge at Sandcut, CA, as it begins its climb over Tehachapi. Normally this train is run north up the valley from Delano, CA then east over Donner Pass, but this day it was detouring over Tehachapi, and later the Sunset Route for its journey east. This high priority train is loaded with food products grown in the San Joaquin Valley, destined for eastern markets.
