Over the years, I've found that getting an early start often pays off in railroad photography. Such was the case for me on Friday, May 2, 2014. On what otherwise became a mostly cloudy day, the sun was out at 7:00 AM as CP GP38-2 #7311 lead Train D45 north over the Mohawk River in Cohoes, NY. This train is Canadian Pacific's local between Kenwood Yard in Albany, NY and Saratoga Yard in Saratoga Springs, NY.
