Originally built 5/68 as SP 8484 (SD40). Rebuilt/renumbered 2/81 by SP's Sacramento Shops as SP 7351 (SD40R). Retired from UP 6/30/99. Purchased and refurbished by Alstom and designated as GCFX 3099 (SD40-2).
