Last Stand?: A trio of Montana Rail Link SD45-2s lead a westbound manifest, H-KCKSPO1-21, off the Lake Pend Oreille bridge in Sandpoint, Idaho on the evening of May 25, 2014. BNSF Railway is currently leasing nine MRL SD45-2s to help move traffic between Laurel, Mont. and Spokane, Wash. How long the lease, or these locomotives, will last is unknown.
