| A742 eases ahead on the main and will soon reverse clear of the south end of Fairburn, afterwards the local job with the HLCX ex ICE nee SP GP40-2 will slide back into the siding and engine track. The unit suffers from a failing air compressor today, the crew will wait for a mechanic from Tilford and see if they have the magic touch. The days efforts would yield no luck. So, engine light shots were all I could come up with this morning with what will be a short lived break in the land of monotony. |
