| Late afternoon midway through winter, and as usual the veld (grass) fires have burnt the scrub vegetation around the very dry, steep and rugged terrain at the back of Shongweni that the Natal Main Line passes through. This is 18-504 leaving Durban with a mixed load of empty CAR and Grain Wagons. |
