| The 2400 Farewell Charter stops at Dempster St. on the Purple Line for a photo stop. Cars 2401-2420 are designated as work motors which feature the red and white strips making them the most colorful cars left on the CTA system. The work motors will be kept for work trains once the rest of the fleet (2421-2600) is retired and will be renumbered S401-S420. They are also rumored to be painted in the yellow work scheme. |
