| VIA Rail's "Revelstoke Park" carries the markers for VIA 2 as it departs Washago on an early June morning in 2013. Aside from the old coaling tower there is still a lot of history to be found in this image. At foreground left, remnants of the old Newmarket Sub's pre-mid-'50s alignment can be seen, and the expanse of gravel in the center and right foreground speaks of when 3 additional tracks later paralleled the lone remaining track around the curve to the right and under Highway 11.
