| Meeting in the mountains....With the sound of a laboring southbound train echoing through the remote valleys that ring the Mojave Subdivision on the western slope of the Tehachapi grade a BNSF intermodal train led by 2014 production ES44C4 8234 approaches the north end of Rowen with its train strung out along the Mojave Subdivision, its rear end up on a cliff side between Tunnels 8 and 7. Sitting in the siding at Rowen preparing for a roll by is BNSF 8058 and the northbound M BARSTO manifest. |
