Remarks & Notes

Lava at sunrise. The first rays of October sun break over the sagebrush as a westbound D&RGW Freight negotiates the east side of the Lava Loop and an imminent stop to water the locomotives. Seeing the sunrise at Lava is easily one of my favorite all time experiences photographing trains.
