The end of June was a stormy wet time for most of the state of Iowa. One of those nights the storms moved off to the east right at sunset to make this funky sunset light. The daily Waterloo, IA, to Kirk Yard, IN, manifest train is about 20 miles into the trip as they past MP 255 few miles west of Independence. 3 NS units and alone CN unit do the honors on this 7400 foot train.
