| New units will soon be heading to GWI's Maryland Midland Railroad which consist of four SD40-2s or SD40-2Ms. The units are former CEFX/OFOX SD40-2 models which were built as SP SD45s, the units have been repainted at the GWI/Georgia Central shops in Lyons, Ga. and are seen undergoing final preparations before transit on July18-2014 Also new to the MMID will be the addition of six axle motive power. Other various EMDs stand at the GC complex for other work and or repainting. |
